When can I expect results?
Within the first week! Any bloat will disappear. You’ll begin to see your muscle definition pop and your clothes will fit better.
What kind of results can I expect?
Awesome ones. No really. On average, women are shedding 10lbs over the course of the 28 day program. Now, we have to say “results may vary” – and they do - depending on variables such as age, gender, genetics and so on. However, if you follow the workout program diligently and adhere to the 28 Shred meal plan consistently there’s no question you’ll notice dramatic changes. You’ll lose excess body fat, gain muscle definition, and improve your overall conditioning.
What if I don’t want to lose weight and just want to get fit – will 28 Shred work for me?
While this workout is specifically designed to get you lean the key to avoiding weight loss is to increase your calorie intake. Your meal plan will specifically create portion sizes based on your personal fitness goal. So whether you are trying to lose weight, maintain your weight and just improve your fitness, or gain muscle the meal plan you receive guides you accordingly on how much to consume for your personal fitness goals.
How do I know if I’m at the right fitness level for 28 Shred. Too easy or too advanced?
28 Shred is designed with what Jillian calls “the factors of change." This means that during the workout there are not only modifications and progressions for every exercise in order to cater to individuals of every fitness level, BUT Jillian also instructs you on how to adjust the amount of repetitions you perform for each exercise and the amount of weight you add to it in order to find the the perfect intensity to get incredible results, safely.
How often should I use 28 Shred?
As often as you like. As mentioned, 28 Shred allows you to progress with the program over time by adding additional reps, more weight, and or graduating into the more advanced versions of each exercise. So you can grow with the program and never plateau.

Plus, you can always use each workout individually as part of any fitness regimen you choose down the road. From spinning and jogging to yoga and kickboxing each 28 Shred workout stands on its own to deliver an incredible strength and metabolic conditioning session that compliments any regimen.
How many calories will I burn?
Lots. Yeah, we know. With all our science talk you’d expect a precise answer here, but that’s the exact reason we can’t give you one. Just like the question on expected results, everyone’s body is different. For example: a 22 year old college volleyball player who’s 5’9 will most likely burn a greater amount of calories than even Jillian – who is in her 40’s and only 5’3. The factors of age, muscle mass, gender, height, genetics and of course personal effort (the level of intensity you bring) will all come in to play.

All that said, the fitness techniques incorporated into 28 Shred are considered the most effective for calorie burning. Calisthenics, Free Weights, Body Weight Training, HIIT, Metabolic Conditioning, Peripheral Heart Action, Plyometrics, Strategic Muscle Splits, and optimized Active Recovery combined will crush your calorie burn - thereby allowing you to maximize YOUR PERSONAL RESULTS. PERIOD
What equipment will I need?
You. You’re the most important part. Your body is the ultimate fitness tool and Jillian will show you how to use it in ways that will get you fitter than you can possibly imagine. A workout mat to protect your knees and spine. And ideally a set of dumbbells that vary in weight range depending on your fitness level and fitness goal. For beginners we recommend 3lbs and 5lbs sets. For more advanced athletes we recommend 5lbs, 8lbs, and 10lbs sets. For the true extremist 12lbs and 15lbs sets.
